1. Independent App

Manhole Quest is an independent mobile application developed by emonster, inc. Manhole Quest is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, approved by, or otherwise officially connected with any third-party brand, rights holder, municipality, public agency, tourism organization, or other entity referenced in the App unless expressly stated.

2. Trademarks and Brand Names

All trademarks, registered trademarks, service marks, trade names, product names, company names, character names, logos, artwork, and other protected brand identifiers are the property of their respective owners.

This includes, without limitation, Pokémon, Poké Lids, Pokéfuta, Pokémon character names, Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK, The Pokémon Company, and any other brand, character, collection, franchise, or public installation referenced in the App. Any such names or identifiers are used only for identification, cataloging, discovery, and informational reference.

3. Publicly Available Factual Information

The App may display factual information about publicly installed manhole covers and related public points of interest, including names, locations, addresses, municipalities, GPS coordinates, source URLs, installation details, collection groupings, and associated characters or themes.

This information is compiled from publicly accessible sources, public installation information, official public websites, direct observation, and normalized local app data. Public availability of factual information does not mean that third-party trademarks, characters, artwork, images, logos, or other protected materials are in the public domain.

4. Ownership of Third-Party Content

emonster, inc. does not claim ownership of third-party brands, characters, artwork, official manhole designs, official names, logos, or other protected intellectual property. All such rights remain with their respective owners.

Local app images and catalog references are used for identification, discovery, collection tracking, and informational presentation within the App. If you are a rights holder and believe that any content should be corrected, attributed differently, removed, or otherwise reviewed, please contact us at support@emonster.com.

5. Official Source References

Manhole Quest may reference official collection sites, public agency pages, municipality pages, prefecture pages, tourism pages, sewerage bureau pages, official franchise pages, and other publicly available sources. Source pages may change, move, or be removed by their operators. The following links are representative source references and should be used to verify current official information when available.

The App may use data derived from PokéAPI as a fallback reference for English Pokémon species names, form names, classifications, and related identifiers when official source pages are unavailable to automated tooling. PokéAPI is a community-maintained project and is not an official Pokémon, Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK, or The Pokémon Company service.

When weather information is available, the App may display weather data using Apple Weather and related Apple platform services. Apple Weather data, maps, forecasts, conditions, and attribution remain subject to Apple's terms, notices, availability, and attribution requirements.

7. Accuracy and Changes

Public installations, locations, addresses, routes, map data, weather data, public source pages, and official descriptions may change over time. Manhole Quest may be incomplete, out of date, or contain errors. The App is provided for discovery, cataloging, and entertainment purposes only.

When visiting public installations, you are responsible for following local laws, respecting private property, obeying traffic and safety rules, and using appropriate caution.

8. Third-Party Services

The App may use platform or third-party services for maps, location, weather, analytics, diagnostics, camera, scanning, app distribution, and related functionality. Those services remain subject to their own terms, notices, and attribution requirements.
